Nghe An Trade Union announces decisions on organizational structure after streamlining

Attending the event were comrade Kha Van Tam - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; Representatives of Party building committees, Party Committees of Provincial Party agencies and Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee along with related units and individuals.

The conference announced the Decision to dissolve and terminate the activities of the Executive Committee and Inspection Committee of the industry trade union units including: Nghe An Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union, Nghe An Provincial Agriculture and Rural Development Trade Union, Nghe An Provincial Construction Trade Union, Nghe An Provincial Transport Trade Union, Health Trade Union, Industry and Trade Trade Union, from March 1, 2025.

Approving the Decision to establish the Trade Union of Nghe An Provincial Party Agencies and the Trade Union of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee.

At the same time, the Organizing Committee and the Inspection Committee were merged into the Organizing - Inspection Committee and Ms. Phan Thi Trang - Head of the Organizing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation was appointed as Head of the Organizing - Inspection Committee.

The conference also approved the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies Trade Union for the 2025-2028 term, consisting of 11 comrades, and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies Trade Union for the 2025-2028 term, consisting of 3 comrades. Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Tat Hoa - former Chairman of the Provincial Agriculture and Rural Development Trade Union holds the position of Chairman of the Provincial Party Agencies Trade Union for the 2025-2028 term.

Appointment of the Executive Committee of the Trade UnionProvincial People's CommitteeThe 2025-2028 term includes 15 comrades, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union for the 2025-2028 term includes 5 comrades. Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Cong Danh - former Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Civil Servants Trade Union holds the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union for the 2025-2028 term.

In addition, the Provincial Labor Federation announced the Decisionsearly retirementfor 5 comrades according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP dated December 31, 2024 of the Prime Minister.

Also on this occasion, 223 grassroots trade unions and 26,405 union members of 6 unions whose activities were terminated were transferred to the Provincial Party Agencies Trade Union, the Provincial People's Committee Trade Union and the District, City and Town Labor Federations.

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation Kha Van Tam emphasized that this change in organizational arrangement is an important milestone in the activities of Nghe An Trade Union. Expressing gratitude and acknowledging the dedication and contributions of 6 industry trade unions and 5 retired individuals this time, he requested the 2 newly established superior trade union units to promptly take up their tasks, promote their sense of responsibility, continue their existing traditions to grasp the situation at the grassroots level, and build a system of regulations to ensure more effective and better quality operations.
