In the context of the Provincial Federation of Labor implementing comprehensive decentralization in the distribution of revenue and expenditure of the union budget to the Federations of Labor of districts, cities, towns and industry unions, the work of inspecting the management of finance, assets and economic activities of trade unions in general and the work of inspecting the finance and assets of trade unions at the same level for the direct superior trade unions at the grassroots level in particular is a very important task.

At the Workshop, the Provincial Federation of Labor Inspection Committee reported on the current situation of peer-level financial inspection of the direct superior trade union in the past time, evaluating the results achieved. Specifically, most units have carried out inspection work on time to serve the work of approving financial settlements; Units conduct inspection once a year; Statistics in the past 5 years (2018-2022) show that the rate of peer-level inspection units is high; Some units have conducted financial inspections in a substantial manner...

In addition to the achieved results, the workshop also seriously pointed out the shortcomings and limitations, thereby exchanging and discussing to find solutions to make the financial inspection of the direct superior trade union at the grassroots level more and more practical and effective. This helps the management of trade union finance and assets to be more and more strict and effective, creating resources for activities to contribute significantly to the successful implementation of Resolution No. 02-NQ/TW dated June 12, 2021 of the Politburo on "Innovation of organization and operation of Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation".

Attending the workshop, delegates from the units shared their concerns and enthusiasm about their experiences in peer-level financial inspection, assessed the responsibility and initiative of the Standing Committee in peer-level financial inspection... The Inspection Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor also received and gave satisfactory explanations.

Concluding the workshop, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Nhi - Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation highly appreciated the quality of the 9 opinions and shared the difficulties that the units had raised. In the coming time, the units need to enhance the role of the standing committees of the trade unions of districts and sectors inpeer financial audit, need to seriously learn from experience, overcome errors in the implementation process.

At the same time, units need to develop detailed plans when conducting inspections to avoid favoritism.
