(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of August 27th, in Vinh City, the Provincial People's Committee, in coordination with the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department, inaugurated the 2013 training course on Party and government mass mobilization work. Attending the opening ceremony was Comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Government Mass Mobilization Work.
Over three days (August 27-29), trainees will receive training on the following topics: Implementation of Decree 60/CP on the implementation of grassroots democracy regulations in enterprises; content and methods of implementing grassroots democracy regulations in agencies, units, and localities; mass mobilization work in planning, construction, and implementation of socio-economic development investment projects, compensation, land clearance, and resettlement; mass mobilization work in coordinating drug prevention and control; and coordination in disseminating information on traffic safety.

In addition, leaders of relevant departments will also implement the following contents: Coordination in disseminating information on the Environmental Protection Law; Coordination in disseminating information on population issues; Exchange of experiences on implementing the Regulations on Mass Mobilization Work of the Political System and the Regulations on Contact and Dialogue with the People; Special topics of the Committee for the Advancement of Women; Discussion of some tasks of mass mobilization work in 2013 and orientation of tasks for 2014.
To ensure that mass mobilization work meets the practical requirements of the current period, Comrade Le Xuan Dai reminded the trainees to raise awareness and responsibility regarding mass mobilization work among cadres and civil servants throughout the political system; to continue implementing Directive 18/2000/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on strengthening mass mobilization work in state agencies; to promote the implementation of democratic regulations in all forms; to enhance the sense of responsibility of cadres and civil servants in serving the people, considering this the most fundamental and decisive solution in government mass mobilization work; and to strengthen the leadership of Party committees at all levels in government mass mobilization work.
