Improving the effectiveness of propaganda work in socio-economic development

At the conference, representatives of the provincial Department of Planning and Investment reported on the socio-economic situation of the province in the first 5 months of the year and tasks and solutions in the coming time; representatives of the provincial Department of Education and Training informed about some contents of the exams for the 2019-2020 school year.

Comrade Kha Van Tam, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, announced the results of the 12th Conference of the 12th Party Central Committee. He emphasized the Resolutions that were passed related to 5 basic issues including: Directions for personnel work of the 13th Party Central Committee; Principles and bases for allocating delegates and expected number of delegates attending the 13th Party Congress; Directions for the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term; Report reviewing the leadership and direction of the Politburo and the Secretariat in 2019; Issues related to personnel work.

Regarding the propaganda orientation in the coming time, comrade Kha Van Tam requested the Propaganda Department of districts, cities, town committees, affiliated party committees, the Fatherland Front, provincial-level organizations and the team of reporters and propagandists to focus on propagating 9 key contents.

Specifically, it is necessary to strongly propagate the Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 13th National Congress of the Party. At the same time, it is necessary to widely disseminate the results of the 12th Conference of the 12th Party Central Committee; Results of the 9th session of the 14th National Assembly; Patriotic Emulation Congress of Nghe An province for the period 2015 - 2020; Results of the implementation of socio-economic tasks in the first 5 months of the year and directions and tasks in the last months of the year; 90th anniversary of the Party's Propaganda Department's tradition day (August 1, 1930 - August 1, 2020); 95th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2020); Preparation and organization of exams for the 2019 - 2020 school year in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Regarding measures to overcome and prevent drought, forest fires and drowning, the Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department requested the propaganda sector to coordinate with all levels and sectors to promote information and propaganda work to all classes of people, especially children, students, teachers and parents in the whole province.

At the same time, continue to promote the foreign affairs activities of the Party and State leaders and defense diplomacy with a focus on protecting sovereignty over borders, seas and islands, contributing to ensuring stability and cooperation in the East Sea, the region and the world.
