(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, January 24th, the Department of Construction held a conference to summarize its work in 2012 and plan for the tasks of 2013.
In 2012, the Department of Construction advised the Provincial People's Committee on the issuance of documents in various fields; directed and managed the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and performed the state management function regarding construction activities. Despite the impact of inflation and tight monetary and account policies, some key projects continued to be implemented, such as: the Thai Hoa – Dong Hoi road, the N2, N5, and D4 road projects, the Southeast Economic Zone, the Cua Lo deep-water port, the resettlement area for the Vinh – Cua Lo boulevard project, etc.
In 2013, Nghe An's construction sector continued to strengthen management, inspection, and supervision in construction investment, especially for projects using state capital, improving investment efficiency and ensuring the quality of construction works; focusing on seriously implementing Resolution 11/NQ-CP on combating inflation, overcoming difficulties to develop and grow; continuing to transform the economic structure of the sector, improving efficiency, competitiveness, and proactively integrating into the international arena; improving and enhancing the material and spiritual lives of officials, civil servants, and workers; focusing on key tasks such as planning and management, investment cost management and land compensation management, construction material development management, housing and real estate business management, technical infrastructure, and construction quality...
Authorized by the Department of Construction, the leaders of the Department of Construction awarded the Third-Class Labor Medal to the Director and Deputy Director of the Nghe An Institute of Construction Planning and Design.
Leaders of the Department of Construction presented certificates of commendation from the Prime Minister to individuals.
The Minister of Construction awarded a Certificate of Commendation to individuals who achieved outstanding results.
Also at the closing ceremony, authorized by the Prime Minister, the leaders of the Department of Construction awarded the Third-Class Labor Medal and a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister to 4 individuals. The Ministry of Construction awarded an excellent emulation flag to the construction industry; 15 collectives and 13 individuals received certificates of merit from the Ministry of Construction for their outstanding achievements in construction work in 2012.
