Improve record keeping and apply farming calendars to farmers
(Baonghean.vn) - Keeping records and applying farming schedules in agricultural production and marketing agricultural products are very important steps in modern agricultural production, but in reality, Nghe An farmers still have many limitations in accessing and implementing them.
To improve efficiencyrecord keepingand apply the farming calendar to improve agricultural production and marketing of agricultural products for Nghe An farmers, on the morning of July 15, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development coordinated with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to organize a workshop on effective record keeping systems in agriculture.

Attending the workshop were Mr. Murooka Naomichi, Mr. KuboYoshitomo - Deputy Chief Representative of JICA Vietnam Office; representatives of several Japanese companies.
On the side of Nghe An province, there were comrade Vo Thi Nhung - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, representatives of the Department of Industry and Trade, the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, and representatives of local leaders in the province.
Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Mr. Murooka Naomichi stated that it is necessary to improve understanding of the importance of record keeping in agriculture using software and digital technology, with contents such as determining crop costs and clarifying work plans.

"Record keeping is important because it helps reduce costs, improve productivity, meet buyers' requirements on traceability, ensure food safety, and differentiate products with safety certification," Mr. Murooka Naomichi emphasized.
Concluding the conference after listening to 5 reports and presentations from the Office of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and the companies Nafood, Glyco, Kamereo, Nagase, and the opinions of the delegates, comrade Vo Thi Nhung stated that in reality, Nghe An farmers still have many limitations in accessing, implementing record keeping, and applying the calendar.farmingin agricultural production and agricultural marketing.
Therefore, it is necessary to promote the application of scientific and technical advances, especially digital technology, in production to reduce costs, increase added value and product quality in each field of agricultural production.

Through the sharing at the workshop, delegates grasped the conditions and requirements for purchasing raw materials for the food processing industry and the agricultural product marketing methods of Nafood Company, Glyco Company, Kamereo of Japan and some other companies.
“This information will help the agricultural sector of Nghe An province gradually orient its agricultural production activities to better meet market demands with the goal of improving product quality and income value for farmers,” said Ms. Vo Thi Nhung.
