On May 26, Nghe An Department of Health coordinated with Central Psychiatric Hospital I to organize the 2022 Northern Regional Psychiatric Conference... Attending the conference were representatives of the Department of Health and Psychiatric Hospitals of 31 provinces and cities across the country.

The 2022 Northern Regional Psychiatry Conference was held after the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 155 on January 29, 2022 approving the National Plan for Prevention of Non-Communicable Diseases and Mental Health Disorders for the 2022-2025 period.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Hung - Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel (Ministry of Health), Director of Central Psychiatric Hospital 1 stated: The conference focused on evaluating the results of community mental health care activities in the period of 2016-2020, orienting activities in the period of 2022-2025 according to Decision 155 of the Prime Minister; discussing and exchanging experiences in patient management and treatment... The opinions from the conference are the basis for building the Project "Improving mental health care capacity in Vietnam", to better meet the health care needs of the people.
