Enhancing foreign reception capacity and cultural sensitivity in international integration

This is the second international class supported by the International Committee - Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union and UNDP (United Nations Development Program) to enhance the capacity of female leaders, managers, and elected representatives of Nghe An province.

In her opening speech, Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Hien - Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union affirmed the important significance of the training course, especially in the digital age and the current context of international integration, foreign reception skills and cultural sensitivity have practical significance.

Thereby, to provide female leaders, managers, and elected representatives with knowledge and skills in foreign affairs protocol and self-leadership skills.

At the same time, this activity contributes to increasing connectivity and capacity building for female leaders; promoting women's leadership role; raising awareness, support and coordination of agencies, organizations and society on gender equality and international integration issues.

According to the plan, the training course was held for 1 day. The delegates listened to lecturer Nguyen Thi Hoai Linh - Head of International Department, Vietnam Women's Union introduce the topic of Foreign Reception Skills and Cultural Sensitivity in International Integration; lecturer Luong Thu Hien - Director of the Center for Gender Studies and Women's Leadership, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics introduce the topic of Self-Leadership Skills: Principles of Creative Life; building a personal mission statement and Presentation sharing the personal mission statement of the participants.
