Improving management and communication capacity on ensuring traffic order and safety
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 16, the National Traffic Safety Committee organized a workshop on "Training to improve capacity in traffic safety management and communication work on ensuring traffic order and safety for provincial and district traffic safety committees in 2021".
The workshop was held online via Zoom Webinar software.

Participating in the workshop in Nghe An were representatives from the Department of Transport, Traffic Police Department (Provincial Police), Office of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee, Traffic Safety Committees of districts, cities and towns; reporters from newspapers and radio stations in charge of traffic safety.
Workshop "Training to improve capacity in traffic safety management and communication work on ensuring traffic order and safety for the Traffic Police Department"Traffic safetyprovincial and district levels in 2021", implementing the following contents: Global Road Safety Program and the Second Decade of the UN Plan of Action on Road Safety 2021-2030; Introduction to the Bloomberg Global Road Safety Program (BIGRS); Skills in building content, reporting news and articles on traffic safety; International experience combining traffic safety propaganda to improve law enforcement effectiveness; sharing experience in building legal regulations to strengthen traffic safety management with factors that pose a high risk of causing traffic accidents and major consequences.

In addition, the Workshop also addressed the following issues: National Road Safety Strategy 2021-2030; Integrating the Global Decade of Action 2021-2030 into Vietnam's National Road Safety Strategy and specifying it in local action plans; Strengthening communication work to improve traffic safety in Vietnam; Providing information, technical support on traffic safety and traffic safety propaganda; Disseminating and guiding the use of applications, software, and online forms in ensuring traffic safety.
The purpose of this workshop is to improve traffic safety management capacity for cadres, civil servants, and law enforcement forces directly involved in ensuring traffic safety and order in localities nationwide.
