Improving communication capacity for overseas labor export for village cadres

(Baongehan.vn) -Implementing the Program to support rapid and sustainable poverty reduction for poor districts according to Resolution 30a of the Government, from mid-January 2013, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Que Phong district organized consultations to improve communication capacity on labor export for leaders of People's Committees of communes, labor, invalids and social affairs officers, secretaries, hamlet chiefs and secretaries of youth unions of communes in the whole district.

The content of the consulting program includes the implementation of Decision No. 71/2009/ND-CP of the Government on supporting labor export for poor communes 30a, summary of the labor export support project; guidance on Joint Circular No. 31 on promoting labor export in the period 2009-2020; implementation of loans for poor workers to go abroad for labor export...

According to the program for district 30a, the total budget for improving communication capacity for labor export is 150 million VND, of which each commune is supported with 4 million VND, each district is supported with 40 million VND for organization and 20 million VND for printing propaganda documents and tapes.

Que Phong is a poor district 30a, currently the demand for labor export of the people is quite large but knowledge and communication about labor export is still limited. The consulting program will be organized by the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs in each commune and is expected to last until January 22, completing 14/14 communes and towns in the district./.
