Enhancing professional skills for Youth Union officials.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 29th, in Vinh City, the Provincial Youth Union organized a training course for grassroots Youth Union officials in 2014. The training course was attended by 150 participants, including Youth Union officials from district and commune levels.

In recent years, gathering and attracting young people to join the Youth Union and organizing activities at the grassroots level has faced many difficulties. One of the reasons is that the methods, work skills, and operational skills of Youth Union organizations at all levels have not been innovative or attractive enough, failing to create more opportunities for young people to engage.

The purpose of organizing this training course is to cultivate and improve the theoretical knowledge, skills, and professional expertise of Youth Union and Association officials; and at the same time, strengthen the connection between Youth Union officials at all levels to exchange and share experiences, contributing to improving the quality of Youth Union activities in localities.

During the three days of October 29th, 30th, and 31st, the trainees will receive instruction on topics including: some issues concerning the organization of the Youth Union in the current period; skills in organizing extracurricular activities for young people; the responsibilities of a Youth Union official at the commune level; the inspection and supervision work of the Youth Union; and the profile of a youth leader...

During this training course, participants also engaged in specific activities such as cultural exchanges and festivals; practicing folk dances; experimenting with the "Night of Emotions - Wheel of Time" model; and exchanging experiences and learning from each other through the practical work of Youth Union officials at all levels.

* Also on October 28th and 29th, the Quỳnh Lưu District Youth Union organized a training course on youth union work for schools in the district.

Nearly 200 youth union officials participated in the training course, including teachers serving as secretaries, deputy secretaries, and executive committee members of the youth union, as well as students who are secretaries of the youth union branches from 5 high schools, junior high schools, and youth union secretaries from 33 communes and towns in Quynh Luu district. The training focused on the following topics: communication skills; skills in composing children's dances and staging skits; skills in being an entertainer; Scout rituals; community folk dance and singing; social skills; life skills; building hobby clubs; skills in organizing games and outdoor activities, etc.

The training course combined theory and practice, creating a vibrant atmosphere that helped staff improve their professional skills in Youth Union and Young Pioneer activities. It also provided an opportunity for Youth Union officials to interact and learn from each other, thereby enhancing their communication skills regarding Youth Union and Young Pioneer activities for members in schools, communes, and towns.
