Improve management capacity for cooperative staff
(Baonghean.vn) - On September 27-28 in Vinh City, the Provincial Cooperative Alliance coordinated with the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance Staff Training School to open a training course to improve management skills and production and business planning for 60 cooperative staff in the province.

Currently, there are 658 cooperatives operating in various fields in the province. Over the years, cooperatives have continuously asserted their role and position in the socio-economic development of the locality. The activities of the collective economic sector, with cooperatives as the core, have created jobs for tens of thousands of workers, contributing to the stability of security, order and social security in the localities.
Content of the training program: Training on management and operation of cooperative production and business according to the 2012 Law on Cooperatives, implementing a number of new policies and guidelines of the State on cooperative collective economy; introducing new cooperative business models with effective results. The objective of the course is to provide knowledge on marketing, production, human resources and financial management applicable to the practical work of cooperatives.

Implementing the conversion work according to the 2012 Cooperative Law, after the conversion, the cooperatives have made efforts to arrange staff, develop production and business plans, and innovate management and operation methods.
In general, the cooperative management team basically grasps the market trends and proactively provides more services to members. However, in reality, there are still many limitations and weaknesses in the management level of cooperative management staff. That is also the reason leading to difficulties and deadlocks in planning and finding production and business solutions for cooperatives.

Through this course, we aim to improve management capacity, operational skills, timely support, and create conditions for cooperatives to effectively perform their functions and powers in management; improve competitiveness in the current market trend, thereby contributing to promoting the production and business process of the unit to operate regularly, continuously, sustainably and effectively.
