From early morning, on the highland roads of Tuong Duong mountainous district, a large number of people in traditional costumes were joyfully and responsibly rushing to the polling stations. The polling stations were decorated with drums, flags, billboards, and banners that were extremely eye-catching and attractive.

At Xan village, where the early election area No. 5 of Huu Khuong commune was held, 545 voters came to the polling station early in the morning in a joyful, enthusiastic, and responsible atmosphere. Everyone was looking forward to the moment of holding the ballot in their hands to choose excellent delegates to represent their will and aspirations to participate in the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels.

Mr. Vi Thanh Xuan - Head of the early voting area No. 5 shared: Huu Khuong is located in the Ban Ve Hydropower Reservoir area. Here, many villages have no electricity, no roads, no markets and no phone signal. The lives of the people here mainly depend on the forest and slash-and-burn farming, so on normal days, there are almost only children and elderly people at home. Therefore, in order for the election day to take place with the best results, in recent months, the village has stepped up propaganda and mobilization work to each person.

Ms. Vi Thi Lang, Ban Xan excitedly said: "My family and everyone in the village are very excited to vote. Although he had spent a lot of time studying the list and brief biographies of the candidates for many weeks, when he arrived at the polling station - the village's community center, village elder Vi Hoang Tan (76 years old) still considered it one more time before choosing a person with both virtue and talent who would represent the will and aspirations of the voters to the competent agencies and departments in various fields.

Mr. Tan said: “I know most of the candidates for the district and commune People’s Council and have followed their work process, so I have made my choice early. I prioritize choosing candidates who are capable, close to the people and know how to care for the poor because I think that only officials who know how to care for the poor can help the people.”

Just like in Xan village, in Huoi Co village (Kho Mu village) - Constituency No. 6 of Huu Khuong commune, the early election day was a big festival. 152 voters in the village put aside their farming work and excitedly went to vote. Everyone was eager to exercise their sacred rights and obligations as voters. Here, members of the election team actively guided people to vote according to the law.

In this election of National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels, in addition to National Assembly and Provincial People's Council deputies running for election in the locality, Tuong Duong district will elect 36 district People's Council deputies and each commune will elect from 25 to 29 commune People's Council deputies. The district has 154 villages, corresponding to 154 constituencies.

Due to difficult conditions, the National Election Committee agreed to allow early voting in 42 areas in Tuong Duong (with 8,909 voters), in 6 communes, including: Huu Khuong, Nhon Mai, Mai Son, Tam Hop, Nga My and Luong Minh. To carry out the election well, at the polling stations, the election committees of 6 communes mobilized forces such as teachers, border guards... to support the early election.
