Currently on the market there are many types of fuel, many vehicle users (especially cars) use fuel that is not recommended by the manufacturer, this greatly affects the life of the engine.

According to auto experts, for Euro 5 emission standards, the technology equipped on cars has been improved with many modern features. If using substandard fuel, it will affect the vehicle's DPF exhaust treatment system, thereby reducing the life and performance of engine oil, reducing engine power, increasing fuel consumption and possibly leading to vibration when driving.

Using fuel not recommended by the manufacturer can lead to vibration of the vehicle's engine in general and the vehicle's technical structures in particular due to uneven fuel combustion.

When the vibration level is high, the engine joints will be loosened, causing the fuel in vapor or liquid form to spill out, encountering high temperatures in the engine casing and the surrounding oxygen-rich environment, leading to fire and explosion of the vehicle. In the long run, it will damage the fuel pump, fuel needle, and combustion chamber, requiring many expensive parts to be replaced.

In addition, new vehicles using substandard fuel may violate emission regulations and will not be inspected. Fuel quality will directly affect the performance of the vehicle. However, to know which fuel is safe to use, many factors need to be considered.

According to experts, if fuel is used below standard for a long time, the vehicle is likely to report errors and damage some parts, the most serious of which is the catalytic converter. The first part to be affected is the fuel filter. If the fuel filter is dirty, it can cause fuel blockage and not provide enough fuel for the engine to operate at its full capacity. Speaking to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, Dr. Nguyen Thiet Lap - lecturer of the Department of Automobile Mechanics, University of Transport, said that if fuel is used that does not meet the manufacturer's standards, it will affect the quality of the vehicle, including emissions (smoke and dust), engine operation (power, torque, fuel consumption) and affect the parts that come into direct contact with the fuel... "New generation vehicles with high technical standards also require the use of high-quality fuel, so using the type of fuel recommended by the manufacturer is very necessary," Dr. Nguyen Thiet Lap advised.
