“The first scenario is a Russian version of Maidan with the Bolotnyi Square option. Participants are promised informational and political support,” TASS quoted Mr. Pushkov as saying.

According to the Russian politician, the US is trying to implement the second scenario. It includes maintaining contacts with “the radical pro-American opposition, including figures such as Mikhail Khodorkovsky, Garry Kasparov, Mikhail Kasyanov”.

“The third scenario is to destabilize the economy in Russia in order to create protests, to undermine Putin’s prestige and influence. Such scenarios do exist. But the question is whether they are feasible or not?” - the head of the Russian Duma Committee asked./.
