Russia announces results of State Duma elections
The United Russia party won the elections to the State Duma with 49.82% of the vote, the Central Election Commission said after counting 100% of the ballots.
The United Russia Party maintained its leading position in the elections to the State Duma (the Russian lower house of parliament) with 49.82% of the total votes, the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (KPRF) came in second with 18.93% of the votes, and the Liberal Democratic Party (LDPR) came in third with 7.55% of the votes, according to the results of 100% of the election votes.

Among the five parties at the top of the list of elected to the Russian State Duma are the parties "Fair Russia - For Truth" with 7.46% of the votes, and the party "New Man" with 5.32%.
Thus, there are five political parties represented in the Russian State Duma, after passing the 5 percent threshold for election.
The State Duma and local elections took place in Russia from September 17 to 19. Voter turnout was over 51%.
