Russia announces time to deliver two warships to Vietnam
Russia will hand over two frigates to Vietnam in the next 3-4 months.

Two Project 11.661 Gepard-3.9 class frigates built by Russia's Zelenodolsk shipyard will be delivered to Vietnam in August and September, Tass quoted the plant's CEO Renat Mistakhov as saying yesterday.
"We are building two ships for Vietnam. The first frigate has been launched. The second will be launched on May 25," said Mr. Mistakhov.
In 2011, Russia handed over two Gepard-class warships Dinh Tien Hoang and Ly Thai To to Vietnam.
Frigate classGepardhas a maximum displacement of more than 1,930 tons, a 52km/h engine, is equipped with Kh-35 anti-ship missiles, Osa-M surface-to-air missiles, and RBU-6000 anti-submarine rocket launchers./.
