Russia supplies Türkiye with first Ka-32 multi-role helicopters
(Baonghean.vn) - On February 18, Mr. Andrei Boginsky, General Director of Russian Helicopters Management Company, announced that the country has delivered the first Ka-32 multi-purpose helicopter to Türkiye within the framework of a contract for three helicopters.

Speaking at the IDEX-2019 arms exhibition, Mr. Boginsky stated: "We are currently handing over helicopters to Türkiye, the first of three is already there. At the end of March, we plan to continue negotiations on extending this contract.
Earlier, speaking to reporters, Mr. Boginsky said that Russia and Türkiye are discussing expanding the supply of Ka-32 helicopters with Ankara possibly purchasing five more similar ones. Mr. Boginsky also noted that the Turkish side is interested in purchasing the domestic multi-purpose helicopter Ansat.
The Ka-32A11BC medium multipurpose helicopter with a coaxial rotor scheme is designed to perform special search and rescue work, as well as to carry out the most difficult fire-fighting measures, transport cargo inside the fuselage and on suspension, external gliding, evacuation of people in distress, wounded, as well as patrol operations and support of special operations.
