Russia sends more large landing ships to Syria
A landing ship of the Russian Baltic Fleet has left the Black Sea for waters off the coast of Syria.

The Ropucha-class landing ship (LSTM) Minks 127 of the Russian Baltic Fleet has just left the Black Sea and is heading to the port of Tartus, where Russia's naval base in Syria is located, the website said.RTArabic versionMarch 12 news.
Previously, a large oil tanker and the Russian Navy's Tapir-class landing ship Orsk 148 were also spotted passing through Türkiye's Bosphorus Strait to the Tartus military port.
Observers believe that both ships are carrying new weapons and military equipment that will be transferred to the Syrian army for use. Large landing and transport ships play an important role in Russia's military campaign in this Middle Eastern country, with the main task of transporting goods and equipment to the Hmeymim air base and the Tartus naval base.
