Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and his predecessors, as heads of state, need to discuss together the essence of the provisions of the Minsk Agreement.
This is the move of the Russian diplomat, after Leonid Kravchuk - head of the Kiev delegation on resolving the situation in Donbass, spoke out that he "does not understand the definition of the special status of Donbass mentioned in the Minsk Agreement".
"Maybe Ukraine won't convene an endless international summit, but can it finally hold an internal one? Let's get together four people, including former Presidents Leonid Kravchuk, Leonid Kuchma, Petro Poroshenko, and current President Vladimir Zelensky, to try to understand what is mentioned in the Minsk Agreements?" - Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova mentioned, adding that these are all leaders involved in the Minsk Agreements: two are in the contact group of the Ukrainian delegation, one signed the agreement, and one is responsible for its implementation.
"One interesting factor is that two of the four leaders never raised any doubts about Minsk, and even discussed the implementation actively and urged Moscow to speed up the process. So please explain clearly to the rest," Maria Zakharova suggested.
