Earlier, Roscosmos Director General Igor Komarov said that there is currently no specific payload for the Angara-A5V.

“Currently, we do not have such a payload for a super-heavy rocket, but in the future, if we intend to fly to the Moon and build a base there, this rocket will be needed for us.

“If we want to fly to other planets, we need to have appropriate launch vehicles. So developing it is definitely a must,” said Alexandr Zheleznyakov.

Russia's latest Angara space rocket system includes a series of environmentally friendly rockets of different payloads, allowing to deliver up to 37.5 tons of payload (three-stage hydrogen-fueled version of Angara-A5V) into low orbit.
