Russia receives peace memorandum from Ukraine
Russia's chief negotiator said that Moscow had received a peace memorandum from Ukraine, and at the second meeting, Russia would hand Kiev a similar document.

According to RIA Novosti on June 2, the head of the Russian delegation at the negotiations with Ukraine in Istanbul - Vladimir Medinsky said that Russia had received a version of a memorandum on a peaceful solution to the conflict from Ukraine.
"The head of the Russian delegation at the talks in Istanbul, Russian presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky, said that Russia had previously received a version of the memorandum on a peaceful settlement from Ukraine. According to him, the memorandum was transmitted in Ukrainian and English," RIA Novosti reports.
According to Reuters, Ukraine will propose a draft peace settlement, the requirements of which are similar to those put forward earlier. They emphasize the absence of restrictions on the weapons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the absence of international recognition of the liberated territories as part of Russia and the demand for compensation payments.
On June 1, Russian presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky arrived in Istanbul as the head of the Russian delegation for a new round of talks with Ukraine. The meeting is scheduled for today (June 2) at 13:00 at the Chiragan Palace.
At this meeting, Moscow handed over to the Ukrainian side a memorandum on the future peace treaty. It includes all aspects of addressing the root causes of the conflict.
The composition of the Russian delegation will be the same as in the previous round, led by Vladimir Medinsky, along with Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin, Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Igor Kostyukov and Deputy Defense Minister Alexander Fomin.
The Ukrainian delegation will once again be led by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov.
