Russia destroys Western Patriot air defense system with Iskander-M missiles.
According to Military Watch magazine, the Russian military successfully destroyed Western Patriot air defense missile systems using Iskander-M missiles.
The publication stated: “The urgency of sending Patriot systems to Ukraine is increasing as the country’s stockpile of Soviet-made S-300 systems dwindles and videos continue to confirm successful attacks using Iskander-M missiles to destroy Patriots on the front lines.”
The publication notes that due to arms supplies for the Ukrainian military, the United States and Germany are facing shortages of Patriot air defense missile systems.
The Iskander-M is one of Russia's most modern missile systems, capable of carrying various types of warheads, including nuclear warheads. This missile system is highly maneuverable and can penetrate missile defense systems, making it a very effective offensive weapon.
