Russia: Inventing invisibility cloak for military
Russian scientists have begun developing a filter that can remove harmful microscopic particles, including virus-containing particles. It will also make people invisible.
"The filter material has outstanding advantages over all other materials available today. It is capable of blocking most dangerous aerosols such as viruses, toxins and allergens. This technology can open up the development of a wide range of protective materials for medical and military purposes," Andrei Grigoryev, Director General of the Future Technologies Research Foundation, told Sputnik.

The Russian invention could also be used to create a super-light and efficient element in military uniforms that would make soldiers virtually invisible.
“We have cooperated with potential customers, including the military, and with a number of manufacturers of sports and leisure clothing in the Arctic and Antarctic regions. We plan to complete practical testing by August 2017,” Grigoryev said.
