Russia plans to launch three lunar probes before 2020, according to Xinhua.

The Russian Space Research Institute and the Russian Federal Space Agency are jointly drafting a lunar research strategy, planning to launch two landers and a lunar orbiter by 2020.
This is the first stage in Russia's lunar research plan, which involves using automated spacecraft to conduct research.
The second phase will launch a manned spacecraft to land on the Moon in the late 20s of this century.
The third phase is to build a base on the Moon in the next decade./.
