According to a representative of Helmand province, on the night of September 22, two airstrikes occurred in Musa Qala district, Helmand province, southern Afghanistan. The airstrike in Konjak village killed 18 gunmen, while the airstrike on a house in Shah-wa-Harrus village, where a wedding ceremony was taking place, killed many civilians, most of whom were women and children. Citing local sources, local officials said at least 40 civilians were killed and injured in the airstrike.
