Russia considers bill on sovereignty after US publishes “Kremlin Report”
The Russian parliament is considering a proposal to clarify what constitutes interference with the country's sovereignty.

This action is in response to the US publishing a list of 210 Russian citizens who could be sanctioned by Washington.
According to the source, a special committee has been established by the Federation Council (upper house of parliament) of Russia to combat foreign interference. Meanwhile, another source said that foreign sanctions would also be considered an act of interference in Russia's sovereignty.
Lawmakers are now proposing legislative initiatives that take a “quid pro quo” approach to combating foreign interference.
