Russia considers resuming flights to Vietnam and 12 other countries in the first phase
(Baonghean.vn) - According to TASS, the Russian government will begin considering lifting restrictions and resuming international flights after July 15. The government believes that this is feasible because the rate of new infections in Russia has shown signs of decreasing for a long time.
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tachiana Golikova said that air traffic will begin to resume, after the authorities of the Ministry of Transport and the Federal Air Transport Agency will have to negotiate and find out which countries meet the criteria.

Ms. Golikova noted that traffic is restored on a proportional basis, and every two weeks the government will reassess the epidemiological situation for the countries where flights are resumed.
First criterion, Russia continues to connect flights to countries with a Covid-19 infection rate of no more than 40 cases per 100,000 people within 14 days.
Criterion 2, the average daily increase in cases does not exceed 1%. And criterion 3, the infection rate also does not exceed 1%.
Earlier, the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Protection and Human Health Rospotrebnadzor sent the Ministry of Transport and the Federal Air Transport Agency a list of 13 countries to which Russia can resume flights at the first stage.
The list includes countries that meet all three criteria above, including the United Kingdom, Hungary, Germany, Denmark, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Finland, Vietnam, China, Mongolia and Sri Lanka.
The Russian Deputy Prime Minister also said that to enter Russia, foreigners need to present a certificate confirming that they are not infected with Covid-19, provided at least 3 days before arriving in Russia. For Russian citizens returning from abroad, they also need to take a rapid test in the country they were in 72 hours before returning to Russia.
In case of positive test for Covid-19, they will be quarantined according to the law. At the same time, 14-day quarantine is maintained for Russians returning from countries with a complex epidemiological history. Or if citizens do not have a Covid-19 test, they will be placed in quarantine until they receive a negative result.
Currently, all Russian citizens returning from other countries are required to undergo a two-week quarantine.
