Diec Pagoda is located in Quang Trung Ward, Vinh City. The pagoda's name is borrowed from the Buddhist scripture "diec bo diec xu", meaning to follow together, to run together, associated with the folk story about a flock of herons sent down by heaven to make rain and water.
