In 2018, the Board of Directors of the Bank for Social Policies, Nghe An Branch closely followed the direction of the Central and Provincial Boards of Directors to lead and direct the excellent completion of assigned goals and tasks. By December 31, 2018, the total capital reached 7,752 billion VND; the total outstanding loan balance of the branch reached 7,744 billion VND, an increase of 7.6%, completing 100% of the assigned plan; the total mobilized capital was estimated at 1,191 billion VND, exceeding the assigned plan, of which: mobilized through the group reached 356 billion VND, an increase of 97 billion VND (2.4 times the assigned target), mobilized from organizations and individuals reached 835 billion VND, an increase of 169 billion VND (reaching 169% of the plan); advised and directed lending work promptly, achieving good results; Loan turnover reached over 2,616 billion VND, debt collection reached 2,072 billion VND.
Although credit scale increased and due debt increased, credit quality continued to be tightly controlled, total overdue debt was about 10.5 billion VND, accounting for 0.14% of total outstanding debt, continuing to decrease by 0.03% compared to 2017.
The implementation of lending for a number of new credit programs has achieved good results, which is an important premise to boost credit in 2019 and the following years: lending for social housing, lending for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas according to Decision No. 2085/QD-TTg.
