State Bank - Nghe An Branch supports 500 million VND for families affected by storms and floods

(Baonghean.vn)- On the morning of December 27, the State Bank of Vietnam - Nghe An Branch visited and presented gifts to support families affected by storm No. 10 and floods in October 2017, in Hung Nguyen district.

Attending the program were comrade Hoang Van Nhien - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of provincial agencies; representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, representatives of the State Bank of Nghe An Branch and leaders of Hung Nguyen district.

On this occasion, the State Bank of Vietnam, Nghe An branch, presented gifts and supported 100 million VND to 17 families whose houses were collapsed or damaged by recent floods. Each family whose house was completely collapsed received 10 million VND and each family whose house was injured or had some property damaged received 5 million VND.

It is known that in 2 days (December 26 and 27), the State Bank of Vietnam, Nghe An Branch, established 3 delegations to visit and provide support to families whose houses were completely collapsed and families with injured people and partial property damage in 6 districts: Hung Nguyen, Thanh Chuong, Nam Dan, Yen Thanh, Cua Lo, Quy Hop and Que Phong; with a total amount of 400 million VND; with a total support amount of 500 million.

The above support amount was mobilized by the Banking Industry from cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers to contribute and support to share difficulties with families affected by natural disasters in Nghe An.
