Quynh Luu Agricultural and Rural Development Bank undertakes to provide support to a Vietnamese Heroic Mother.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 25th, the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank of Quynh Luu district visited and provided support to Mrs. Nguyen Thi Xin, a Vietnamese Heroic Mother, in Van Dong hamlet, Quynh Bang commune.

Mr. Ho Cong Dam - Director of the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank of Quynh Luu - presents a gift to Mrs. Nguyen Thi Xin.

Over the years, the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank of Quynh Luu district has encouraged its staff to contribute at least four days' worth of salary each year and allocate a portion of the unit's funds to support social welfare movements.

Since 2010, the bank has built five houses for needy families, each valued at 20 to 30 million VND. On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country, and in response to the gratitude and remembrance movement, the bank's staff and employees have pledged to provide monthly support of 1 million VND to Mrs. Nguyen Thi Xin, an 85-year-old Vietnamese Heroic Mother residing in Van Dong hamlet, Quynh Bang commune.
