Speaking at the opening of the conference, Director of the Department of Education and Training Thai Van Thanh affirmed: The 10th grade entrance exam and the National High School Exam are two important exams. To ensure a serious, safe and regulated exam, the role of the head of the exam is extremely important.
As the person in charge of all stages, the Director of the Department of Education and Training requested that the test takers promote the ethics of the test takers, create a comfortable, confident, calm, democratic, and friendly mentality so that the candidates can do well on the test, and not cause pressure or worry for the candidates during the test.
The head of the examination site must also promote the responsibility of the sector's staff in coordinating with universities during the organization of the exam. In case of deviation by the examination staff, the examination site has the right to make a record.

At the conference, Colonel Le Khac Thuyet - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police also proposed plans to ensure safety, security and order in the upcoming exams. In particular, the police force and the invigilators need to pay special attention to the issue of using high technology to cheat on exams.
Speaking more about this issue, the representative of the provincial police also said: Currently, information about high-tech cheating devices is being sold openly on the internet at a fairly cheap price of about 3 million VND/set.
Compared to previous years, the devices are now designed to be very small, discreetly camouflaged and difficult to detect with the naked eye. From these realities, the police have also noted the methods and tricks of using high technology, ways of detecting, preventing and some solutions to prevent fraud.
Previously, during the previous exam, through investigation, Hai Phong Police and Hanoi Police discovered two cases of trading cheating devices and seized hundreds of high-tech devices used for cheating. However, these cases could not be prosecuted criminally but only administratively.
On June 22, 2017, at the exam site of Quoc Oai High School, Hanoi, a candidate was discovered using high-tech equipment to cheat in the Math exam.
