Over the past two years, due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, many families have fallen into difficult circumstances. In particular, the pandemic has also left many students orphaned, many of whom have lost both their parents. According to statistics, in Nghe An province, there are 48 students who have lost their father or mother in preschool, primary, secondary and high school. Losing a loved one is a great mental trauma and loss for these children, and also puts them in difficult material circumstances.

The head of the education sector also welcomed the way the Nghe An Education Trade Union has worked when it had many timely programs and activities to join hands, support, share, and mobilize all the hearts and feelings of organizations and individuals for students who have lost their father or mother due to the Covid-19 epidemic.
