(Baonghean.vn) - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh expressed his belief that with the tradition of solidarity and enthusiasm of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers, the Department of Home Affairs will continue to strive and excellently complete the assigned political tasks.

On the afternoon of December 30, the Department of Home Affairs held a meeting to summarize the work in 2022 and deploy tasks in 2023. Complete the tasks well

In 2022, the entire Home Affairs sector basically completed the assigned tasks in 2022, contributing to the successful implementation of the province's socio-economic development tasks.

Accordingly, the Department of Home Affairs has actively advised on the implementation of organizational restructuring; management, reception, recruitment, use of payroll; staff streamlining; regimes and policies for cadres, civil servants and public employees; and effective implementation of the autonomy mechanism for public service units. Up to now, it has advised the Provincial People's Committee to issue a Decision regulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure for 12/21 departments and branches.

In 2022, 13 units were reduced due to the merger of public service units; consulting on the development of a plan for management and use of staff for the 2022-2026 period, including a roadmap to ensure that in the 2022-2026 period, at least 5% of the staff and civil servants and 10% of the staff are continued to be streamlined.

In 2022, the Provincial People's Committee approved the Project to streamline staff for 489 people; provided funding to streamline staff, regimes and policies for 401 cadres, civil servants and public employees who retired according to Decree 108/ND-CP; advised the Provincial People's Committee to allocate 2,820 teacher positions to the Department of Education and Training and People's Committees of districts, cities and towns.

The sector has been proactive and active in advising on the implementation of the Project to Expand the administrative boundaries and urban space of Vinh city; actively advising on the implementation of administrative reform in all 6 tasks and has had positive changes.

Emulation and reward work, state management of beliefs, religions, documents and archives and other tasks continue to have changes, contributing positively to the completion of the sector's tasks in 2022.

Discussing at the conference, representatives of departments, branches, districts, cities and towns shared results, good practices, and lessons learned in various fields of the Home Affairs sector; at the same time, proposed recommendations and solutions to effectively carry out the sector's tasks in the coming time.

Resolutely advise, continue to arrange and reorganize administrative agencies

Speaking at the conference, comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee commended and acknowledged the outstanding achievements and results of the Home Affairs sector in 2022.

Deploying the tasks in 2023, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh requested the Department of Home Affairs to resolutely advise, continue to arrange and reorganize administrative agencies and public service units to ensure conditions and standards according to regulations; continue to resolve policies for redundant commune-level cadres.

Advise on timely and full implementation of regimes and policies for civil servants, public employees and workers in the province; advise on synchronous implementation of the contents of the Resolution and the State Administrative Reform Program for the period 2021-2030 as set out; advise on solutions to improve the ranking achievements in administrative reform related to the PAR INDEX, PAPI, SIPAS, PCI...

At the same time, advise on the implementation of the Project to Expand the administrative boundaries and urban space of Vinh city according to plan. Focus on organizing and implementing Project 513 of the Prime Minister on modernizing and completing administrative boundary records of all levels according to regulations.

Strengthen discipline and order in the performance of duties and public services of cadres, civil servants and public employees. Pay attention to and take care of building, recruiting, training and fostering a team of civil servants working in State organization at all levels and in all sectors, meeting increasingly high task requirements.

Carry out well the State management of religion, emulation and rewards in the province. Do well the work of documents and archives, especially the digitization of archival documents in the province.

In recognition of the work results, in 2022, Nghe An Department of Home Affairs was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Party Committee of the Department of Home Affairs was classified as having excellently completed its tasks.

On this occasion, the President awarded the Third Class Labor Medal to comrade Nguyen Thang Long - Head of the Department of Organization and Non-Governmental Organizations; the Provincial People's Committee awarded the Emulation Flag to the Department of Government Construction and Youth Work; the title of excellent labor collective to 2 collectives; and Certificates of Merit to 5 individuals.
