How does the Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry Pedagogy major at Vinh University recruit students?
(Baonghean.vn)- Vinh University has just established the Institute of Natural Pedagogy. All natural pedagogy training majors including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Information Technology are under the institute.
The Institute was established on the basis of merging 16 departments from 5 faculties of teacher training including: Faculty of Mathematics Education, Faculty of Physics and Technology, Faculty of Biology, Faculty of Chemistry and Faculty of Information Technology.
However, the establishment of the Institute before the university entrance exam has raised many questions from parents and students. Some mistakenly believe that the majors of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Physics, Information Technology, Biology... are no longer taught at Vinh University. This has caused some difficulties for candidates in choosing schools and majors, especially those who love natural pedagogy majors.

In response to questions from parents and students, Associate Professor, Dr. Kieu Phuong Chi, Director of the Institute of Natural Education - Vinh University, said that the establishment of the Institute is one of the solutions to concentrate the University's resources to improve the quality of training in pedagogical fields, and is a premise for the re-establishment of Vinh Pedagogical University under Vinh University according to a pilot model nationwide, with the orientation of a research university.

“All natural pedagogical majors are recruited and trained normally, so parents and students can be completely assured. In particular, along with the process of improving the quality of training, the Institute is also gradually improving the quality of the teaching staff. Currently, the Institute has 93 lecturers and 4 specialists. Of which, there is 1 Professor, 28 Associate Professors, 60 PhDs with 13 departments including: Teaching Methods of Mathematics, Analysis, Probability and Statistics, Algebra-Geometry, Physics, Teaching Methods of Physics, Inorganic Chemistry-Analysis, Organic Chemistry-Physical Chemistry, Teaching Methods of Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Teaching Methods of Biology, Informatics”, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Kieu Phuong Chi affirmed.
The 2017 quotas for pedagogical majors of the Institute of Natural Pedagogy are as follows: Mathematics Pedagogy 60 quotas; Informatics Pedagogy 30 quotas; Physics Pedagogy 50 quotas; Chemistry Pedagogy 50 quotas; Biology Pedagogy 50 quotas.
