Tax sector promotes electronic tax refund propaganda

The General Department of Taxation has just issued a document requesting tax departments of provinces and cities to step up propaganda work on electronic tax refunds on mass media so that the majority of people and businesses know and implement it.

Mr. Nguyen Dai Tri - Deputy General Director of the General Department of Taxation said that to deploy electronic tax refund nationwide, the General Department of Taxation recently organized training on electronic tax refund for 63 provinces and cities and up to now, electronic tax refund has been officially implemented nationwide.

“To contribute to the successful implementation of the electronic tax refund service, the General Department of Taxation has a plan to promote this service to the community and taxpayers on mass media such as television, radio, internet…”, Mr. Tri said.

According to the General Department of Taxation, the General Department has created video clips (30 seconds long), audio clips (60 seconds long), clips instructing the steps to perform the service; market leaflets, market banners introducing electronic tax refunds.

These clips will be posted on the General Department of Taxation's website and broadcast on central and local radio and television stations.

To make propaganda work effective, focused and key, the General Department of Taxation requires tax departments to proactively develop propaganda plans suitable to local requirements.

For service promotion products (video, audio, banner), tax departments will post them on the tax department's website and coordinate with local radio, television, and newspapers for promotion; for leaflets, they will be printed according to the market model approved by the General Department of Taxation, the quantity depends on the needs of each locality.

Along with advertising through images, banners, etc., to spread the propaganda widely, the General Department of Taxation requires more articles on the benefits of electronic tax refunds so that the business community knows and implements./.
