Nghe An Party Building Organization Department opens Sports Tournament to celebrate 94th anniversary of tradition
On the afternoon of October 4, the Organizing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee held the opening ceremony of a sports tournament to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the tradition of the Party Organization and Building sector (October 14, 1930 - October 14, 2024).
Attending the opening ceremony were comrade Le Duc Cuong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; representatives of the Party building committees; Standing committees of districts, cities, towns, and Party committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee.
This is a sports tournament in a series of activities to celebrate the traditional day of the Party Building Organization sector.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the tournament, comrade Le Quoc Khanh - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament affirmed that the sports tournament is not only a playground for athletes to demonstrate their talents and strength, but also an opportunity to expand exchanges and mutual understanding between cadres, civil servants and public employees of agencies and units in the whole industry; strengthen solidarity and promote the noble spirit of sportsmanship, thereby effectively implementing the campaigns "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", "Healthy to build and protect the Fatherland".
The sports tournament had the participation of more than 160 athletes who are leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, the Department of Home Affairs, the Standing Committees of districts, cities, towns, and Party Committees directly under the Provincial Party Committee; heads of the Department of Home Affairs of the District People's Committee, chiefs of offices of district, city, and town Party Committees; cadres, civil servants, and public employees of the Party Organization and Building sector.
The tournament is held over 2 days (October 4-5) with 4 competitions, with 8 events: Men's volleyball, Women's volleyball, Table tennis (men's singles, men's doubles, mixed doubles), Badminton (men's leader doubles, men's doubles, mixed doubles).
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the Sports Festival took place with great excitement and competition.
