On the afternoon of June 14, in Ha Tinh city, a conference was held to review the propaganda work in the first 6 months of the year in the cluster of provinces in the Northwest region, the Northern mountainous region and some provinces in the North Central region.

The conference was chaired by comrades: Nguyen Thanh Long - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department; Hoang Trung Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee. Also attending the conference were comrades representing a number of units under the Central Propaganda Department; leaders of the Propaganda Departments of the Provincial Party Committees of 14 provinces in the Northwest, Northern mountainous region and North Central region.

Attending the conference on the side of Nghe An province was comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.

According to the report, in the first 6 months of the year, the Propaganda Departments of the provincial and municipal Party Committees in the Northwest region, the Northern mountainous region and some North Central provinces closely followed the direction of the Central Propaganda Department, and the provincial Party Committees well implemented the tasks, programs and plans set out.

At the conference, many opinions of delegates presented good practices and effective models. In addition, opinions also focused on clarifying solutions to implement the resolution, political theory education, promoting the role of the Propaganda sector in socio-economic development; implementing activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh's Testament; the arrangement of the apparatus of the Propaganda Department of the provinces...

Speaking at the conference, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee said that in the first 6 months of the year, the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee has closely coordinated with the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and created many practical results. The Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee also coordinated with other sectors to effectively carry out propaganda work and implement directives and resolutions.

In particular, Nghe An province has proactively promoted propaganda towards Party congresses at all levels, especially the 13th National Party Congress and the 19th Provincial Party Congress.

Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Thanh Long - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and results of the Provincial Propaganda Departments. He also oriented some contents that need to be focused on in the coming time such as: Resolution of the 10th Central Conference (term XII), Resolution No. 37-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the arrangement of administrative units at district and commune levels; Directive No. 35-CT/TW of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels towards the 13th National Congress of the Party...

Earlier in the morning, delegates visited the new rural model in Cam Yen commune, Cam Xuyen district and Formosa Ha Tinh Steel Plant.
