The national Propaganda Department commemorates the soldiers of Gac Ma and visits the Submarine Brigade.

On March 16, the Central Propaganda Department's working delegation and the team of reporters and propagandists representing the Provincial Party Committees, Municipal Party Committees, and Party Committees directly under the Central Committee, attending the National Final Competition for excellent reporters and propagandists to propagate the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels, term 2020 - 2025, offered incense and flowers at the Gac Ma Soldiers Memorial Site; visited the 189th Naval Submarine Brigade and Brigade 162, Naval Region 4.

The delegation included Dr. Do Phuong Thao - Director of the Center for Propaganda Work, Dr. Pham Ngoc Linh - Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel, Central Propaganda Department; Major General Nguyen Van Duc - Director of the Department of Propaganda and Training, General Department of Politics, Ministry of National Defense and comrades who are heads and deputy heads of the Propaganda Departments of Provincial Party Committees, City Party Committees, Party Committees directly under the Central Committee and 27 excellent reporters and propagandists selected through 3 rounds of competition in the region.

The working delegation of the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee was led by comrade Tran Quoc Khanh - Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee.

The members of the delegation respectfully bowed before the souls of the heroic martyrs, expressing their respect and infinite gratitude for the great contributions of the soldiers who fought and sacrificed for the territorial integrity and to maintain the sovereignty of the sacred sea and sky of the Fatherland.

On the same day, the delegation visited and encouraged officers and soldiers on duty at the 189th Naval Submarine Brigade and the 162nd Brigade of Naval Region 4.

The 189th Submarine Brigade is equipped with Kilo 636 submarines, a fleet of support ships and a modern, synchronous shore-based infrastructure system. The establishment of the 189th Submarine Brigade is a historical milestone in the roadmap to build a modern Vietnam People's Navy and Army; demonstrating the deep concern and strategic vision of the Party, State, Central Military Commission and Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam in carrying out the task of firmly protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
