Construction industry deploys 15 key tasks in 2023

On the afternoon of January 3, the Department of Construction held a conference to deploy tasks for 2023. Comrade Le Hong Vinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended and delivered a speech at the conference. Also attending were representatives of relevant departments, agencies, and branches; affiliated units and representatives of the People's Committees, districts, cities, and towns.

In 2022, the growth rate of the entire construction industry is estimated at 10.43%. The total GRDP of the construction industry at 2010 comparable prices is estimated at 13,732 billion VND. Many important targets in 2022 will be completed: 2,179 projects will be appraised with a total estimated value of 15,345.82 billion VND; after appraisal, it will be reduced by 530.85 billion VND (reaching 3.46%). Over the past year, the Department of Construction has done a good job in managing construction.architecture, planningurban construction and development, coordinate with consulting units to implement the planning of Nghe An province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. In which, construction planning is considered an important content with clear results in the content of the Provincial Planning.

The district construction planning has so far been approved for 3/17 district areas (Nam Dan, Yen Thanh, Quynh Luu); 1 district has submitted a planning appraisal document to the Provincial People's Committee (Do Luong). Currently directing the planning of 13 districts (of which, 8 districts have approved the task of planning, 5 districts are preparing the task).

Appraised and submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for approval the general urban planning of Nam Dan and Do Luong urban areas. Advised the Provincial People's Committee to approve the overall adjustment of the general planning of Hoang Mai town and Cau Giat town and establish a number of new urban areas in Quynh Luu and Yen Thanh districts according to the approved district construction planning; zoning plan of Hoang Mai town (3 sub-zones), Thai Hoa town (4 sub-zones).

In 2023, the Construction sector has set out 15 key tasks, including many important contents such as: Guiding and urging the People's Committees of districts to complete the planning of district construction; Effectively implementing approved orientations, strategies, projects and programs on urban technical infrastructure; Improving the quality of planning, strictly controlling the planning and appraisal to ensure consistency and unity; Deploying the Housing Support Project for poor and near-poor households in districts under the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction for 2021-2025; Completing the development of the Strategy for construction materials development of Nghe An province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050; Focusing on inspecting the State management work at the district level in the decentralized and authorized fields of planning, appraisal of investment projects, granting construction permits, and management of construction quality, etc.

Speaking at the conference, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh acknowledged and commended the efforts of the Construction sector in recent times; basically agreed with the goals and groups of tasks and solutions mentioned by the Department of Construction at the conference.

To successfully complete the set goals and tasks, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed that in the coming time, it is necessary to focus on updating the Central's policies and sectoral plans, local socio-economic plans and the province's socio-economic development needs to serve as a basis for supplementing, adjusting and developing topics, plans and projects in the province.

In addition, the sector needs to effectively implement approved orientations, strategies, projects and programs on urban technical infrastructure; promote the application of advanced, environmentally friendly wastewater, solid waste and garbage treatment technologies suitable to the conditions of Nghe An province.

The industry also needs to focus on directing the removal of difficulties in site clearance, strengthening State management of planning and construction quality, focusing on directing the strict implementation of regulations and rules on basic construction management; Focus on directing the promotion of inspection, examination, detection and resolute handling of violations of planning, construction order, construction quality, labor safety, etc.

He also requested the Department of Construction to urge the People's Committees of districts to complete the planning of district construction areas, deploy the planning of communes according to the approved planning of districts; Complete the work of planning urban development programs for the whole province according to the approved Provincial Planning orientation.

For districts, cities and towns, provincial leaders require focusing on reviewing the tasks, plans and programs assigned by the Construction sector to localities to strengthen implementation direction and ensure completion of set goals and targets.
