(Baonghean.vn) - On June 13th, localities and units throughout the province held their Party congresses for the 2015-2020 term.
* Yen Hop Commune (Quy Hop District):On June 13th, Yen Hop commune (Quy Hop district) held its 21st delegate congress for the 2015-2020 term.

Despite being a particularly disadvantaged commune, during the past term, the Party Committee and people of Yen Hop commune united to achieve the targets and tasks set forth in the Resolution of the 20th Party Congress. The total value of local production in 2015 was estimated at nearly 67 million VND. The economic growth rate was 8.5%. Total budget revenue in the commune reached nearly 2.8 billion VND. Average per capita income in 2015 was estimated at 18 million VND. The poverty rate was over 36%. From 2012-2014, the commune achieved the title of advanced in education. The rate of cultured families reached 60%, and the rate of people using clean water reached 87%. Four out of four schools and health stations achieved cultural status, and eight out of sixteen hamlets achieved cultural status. National defense and security were ensured and maintained.
Implementing the new rural development program, the entire commune has now concreted 2 km of roads, and the people have donated 1,210 m2 of land and more than 1,020 trees... with a total value of over 2 billion VND. Yen Hop has achieved 3 out of 19 new rural development criteria.
During the past term, the work of evaluating, reviewing, and ranking party members annually has been carried out effectively, continuously improving the quality of party members in all aspects, while also focusing on the recruitment of new party members in the branches. In the past five years, 70 new party members have been admitted.
With the theme "unity, discipline, creativity, and leveraging internal strengths," the Party Committee and people of Yen Hop commune will strive to successfully achieve the goals and resolutions set forth by the Party Congress during the 2015-2020 term, including: achieving a total commune income of nearly 250 million VND, an economic growth rate of 13%, an increase in per capita income of 2-3%, and a reduction in the poverty rate of 3-4%. The percentage of culturally exemplary families will reach 80%, the percentage of people using clean water will reach 95%, and 15 out of 16 hamlets will achieve cultural status… and the Party Committee will strive to be clean and strong every year.
With a high sense of responsibility, focused intellect, and democratic spirit, the congress unanimously elected 14 comrades to the executive committee of the 21st term and elected 6 delegates to attend the 20th Congress of the Quy Hop District Party Committee, term 2015-2020.

During the 2010-2015 term, the Party Committee led the people in overcoming difficulties and striving to achieve and surpass the set targets and tasks. The economic structure shifted in a positive direction. The average growth rate reached 12% per year. The total value of production at current prices reached 91.8 billion VND. Budget revenue in the area reached over 150 million VND per year. Average per capita income reached 18 million VND in 2015. The poverty rate decreased to 36.14% according to the new standard. Infrastructure was upgraded and gradually improved. The commune achieved 16 out of 19 criteria for building new rural areas. Indicators in health, education, population, family planning, and maternal and child protection and care also met and exceeded the set targets.
For the 2015-2020 term, the Chau Binh Commune Party Committee set socio-economic targets, continuing to leverage internal resources, taking advantage of state investment capital, exploiting potential and advantages, developing a stable economy, caring for the people's lives, and ensuring national defense and security. Promoting democracy, maintaining discipline, and fostering unity to build an increasingly clean and strong Party Committee, building strong and comprehensive political systems, and achieving the new rural standard by 2020.
At the Congress, delegates offered opinions and contributions aimed at refining the targets and solutions for socio-economic development and national defense and security set forth in the Resolution of the 19th Congress.
The Congress elected a new executive committee consisting of 14 members; elected 5 members to the Standing Committee and elected 14 delegates to attend the 25th Congress of the Quy Chau District Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term.
