In addition, Trang also created and operated websites such as: "Law Magazine", "Phamdoantrang.com", "The Vietnamese", to write and disseminate content distorting the situation of democracy and human rights in Vietnam, defaming the leaders of the Party and State, inciting opposition, calling for protests, and overthrowing the regime.

Many books contain bad content, distorting and defaming the political system, the situation of democracy and human rights in Vietnam, the Party's guidelines, and the State's policies and laws.

Trang has connected with and received funding from reactionary elements of VOICE (a peripheral organization of the terrorist organization Viet Tan), established the fanpage “Freedom Publishing House” to write and distribute many books with bad content, distorting and defaming the political system, the situation of democracy and human rights in Vietnam, the Party’s guidelines, policies and laws of the State… and distributed them on cyberspace. With her blind awareness and activities of sabotage, Trang has been sponsored, supported and encouraged by hostile forces to award the so-called Homo Homini human rights award and nominated for the press freedom award.

With the documents and evidence collected on the subject's opposition activities, on October 7, 2020, the Hanoi City Police Department's Investigation Security Agency coordinated with units of the Ministry of Public Security and Ho Chi Minh City Police to execute an arrest warrant to temporarily detain and urgently search the suspect Pham Thi Doan Trang (while hiding in Ward 10, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City), seizing many related exhibits; At the same time, the investigation agency issued a Decision to prosecute the criminal case: "Propaganda against the Socialist Republic of Vietnam" and the criminal case: "Making, storing, disseminating or propagating information, documents, and items against the Socialist Republic of Vietnam" according to the provisions of the Penal Code.
