According to the forecast on the morning of September 14,Floods on rivers in Nghe An, Ngan Sau River and La River (Ha Tinh) are rising.
Water level at 05:00 on September 14, 2016 on Ca River, at Nam Dan: 3.89m, below alarm level I: 1.51m; on Hieu River, at Quy Chau at 06:00 on September 14, 2016 rose very quickly and was at 75.20m, below the historical flood level in 2007: 4.99m, the highest flood intensity (from 05:00 to 06:00: 3.77m)
ForecastAs of this afternoon (September 14), the water level of the upstream Ca River and Hieu River has risen rapidly with a flood amplitude of 3.0 - 8.0m, especially the upstream Hieu River has reached the historical flood level of 2007: 80.19m; and is likely to continue to rise. The downstream Ca River and La River are at alert level I.
WarningHeavy rain in a short period of time should be on guard against the possibility of flash floods on small rivers and streams, especially on Hieu River (Nghe An).
Heavy rain can cause flooding in low-lying areas and there is a high risk of landslides in the districts of Tuong Duong, Ky Son, Que Phong, Quy Chau, Con Cuong, Anh Son, Quy Hop, Do Luong, Thanh Chuong; Tan Ky, Nghia Dan.
