(Baonghean.vn) - On June 2nd, many localities and units in the province held their Party congresses for the 2015-2020 term.

* Nghi Hoa Ward (Cua Lo Town):On the morning of June 2nd, the Party Committee of Nghi Hoa Ward (Cua Lo Town) held its 19th delegate congress for the 2015-2020 term.

During the past term, Nghi Hoa ward achieved several outstanding results: the economic structure shifted in the right direction, the average annual growth rate was 8.2%, and the poverty rate decreased to 3.3%. The ward promoted the people's role as masters of their own destiny, fostered social consensus, and maintained internal unity.

In a spirit of innovation, unity, and democracy, the delegates discussed and agreed upon the goals and solutions for building the political system, developing the economy and society, and national defense and security for the new term 2015-2020.

* Quy Hop town (Quy Hop district):

On June 2nd, Quy Hop town held its 9th Party Congress, for the 2015-2020 term. 183 delegates representing 637 Party members from the entire Party organization attended.

During the past term, the Party Committee and people of Quy Hop town overcame difficulties and achieved many important accomplishments in various fields, meeting and exceeding 14 out of 15 targets of the 9th Party Congress Resolution. The economy experienced significant growth, the material and spiritual lives of the people improved, the political and social situation remained stable, and national defense and security were maintained.

Party building work has achieved many positive results. The total value of production in 2015 was estimated at over 576 billion VND, the average annual economic growth rate was 17.5%, and the average annual per capita income reached 28.7 million VND. The poverty rate in 2014 was 4.67%, a decrease of 3.11% compared to 2010.

Infrastructure development has received significant investment, contributing to the socio-economic development of the town. The total capital mobilized from public contributions for infrastructure construction in 20 blocks is 4.5 billion VND.

Cultural and social work has seen many positive changes and advancements. The quality of teaching and learning at all levels has improved, with all four schools meeting national standards.

Regarding the development of the political system, in order for policies and resolutions to be implemented effectively, the town's Party Committee has consistently innovated and been creative in its dissemination and implementation... During the term, 74 new Party members were admitted, the Party Committee achieved the "Strong and Excellent" rating for 5 consecutive years, including 4 years as an outstanding "Strong and Excellent" Party Committee, and every year, 80% or more of the Party branches were classified as "Strong and Excellent".

With a high sense of responsibility, focused intellect, and democratic spirit, the congress unanimously elected 15 comrades to the Executive Committee of the 9th term and elected 10 delegates to attend the 20th Congress of the Quy Hop District Party Committee, term 2015-2020.

* Thanh Tuong Commune (Thanh Chuong District):On the morning of June 2nd, the Party Committee of Thanh Tuong commune (Thanh Chuong district) held its Party Congress for the 2015-2020 term.

The Congress voted to approve the Resolution with the following basic targets: average growth rate over 5 years (2016-2020): 11.1%, average per capita income of 60-65 million VND/person/year, stable annual total grain production of 2030 tons, local budget revenue reaching 830-950 million VND/year. Thanh Tuong strives to achieve new rural standards by the end of 2016, poverty rate at 3%, national defense and security maintained. The goal is to recruit over 40 new Party members throughout the term. The government, the Fatherland Front, and mass organizations will annually complete their tasks excellently.

* Phuc Tho Commune (Nghi Loc District):On June 1st and 2nd, the Party Committee of Phuc Tho commune (Nghi Loc district) held its 19th Party Congress, for the 2015-2020 term.

During the 2010-2015 term, the Party Committee and people of Phuc Tho commune strived to achieve and surpass all the goals and plans set forth in the Resolution of the 18th Party Congress. The economy developed significantly with an average growth rate of 8.5% per year, and the economic structure shifted in the right direction. In particular, the service and trade sector grew rapidly, and per capita income reached 28 million VND per year. Culture and society developed; national defense and security were strengthened; the political system was built strong; and the emulation movements in Phuc Tho continued to develop comprehensively and steadily.

The Congress discussed and clarified the achievements, limitations, and weaknesses of the past term, as well as the direction, objectives, tasks, and solutions for the next term. The goal is to achieve a total production value of over 402 billion VND by 2020, with the service and trade sector accounting for 65%. Average per capita income is targeted at 42 million VND per year. Phuc Tho commune aims to complete the new rural development program in 2015.
