October 3, 2025: Domestic coffee and pepper prices both decrease

On October 3, 2025, coffee prices dropped sharply compared to yesterday to 114,500 - 115,600 VND/kg. Domestic pepper prices fell across the board to 144,000 - 146,000 VND/kg.

Coffee prices fell sharply domestically

On the London Stock Exchange, the online price of Robusta coffee futures contract for November 2025 delivery closed at $4,416/ton, up 2.17% ($94/ton) compared to yesterday. The contract for January 2026 delivery increased by 1.94% ($84/ton), reaching $4,409/ton.

On the New York Stock Exchange, the price of Arabica coffee for delivery in December 2025 increased by 1.75% (6.6 US cents/pound) compared to yesterday, reaching 384.7 US cents/pound. The contract for delivery in March 2026 increased by 1.67% (6.05 US cents/pound), reaching 368.5 US cents/pound.

Domestic coffee prices today, October 3, 2025, in the Central Highlands region decreased sharply from 2,000 to 2,500 VND/kg compared to yesterday, fluctuating between 114,500 - 115,600 VND/kg.

Accordingly, traders in the old Dak Nong region are purchasing coffee at the highest price of 115,600 VND/kg, a sharp decrease of 2,300 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Similarly, coffee price in Dak Lak province is 115,500 VND/kg, down 2,200 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Coffee prices in Gia Lai province decreased by VND2,500/kg compared to yesterday and were traded at VND115,000/kg.

In Lam Dong province, coffee prices decreased by VND2,000/kg compared to yesterday and are at VND114,500/kg.

Domestic pepper prices slightly decreased

According to records, this morning pepper price in the domestic market slightly decreased by 1,000 VND/kg, ranging from 144,000 - 146,000 VND/kg.

In Dak Lak province, pepper price today is purchased at 146,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.

In Dak Nong area (Lam Dong province), pepper price today is purchased at 145,000 VND/kg, unchanged from yesterday.

In Gia Lai province, pepper price today is at 145,000 VND/kg, down slightly by 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

Meanwhile in Dong Nai, pepper price today is at 145,000 VND/kg, down 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

In Ba Ria - Vung Tau area (Ho Chi Minh City), pepper price today is at 145,000 VND/kg, down 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

In Binh Phuoc area (Dong Nai province), pepper price today decreased by 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday, purchased at 145,000 VND/kg.

At the end of the most recent trading session, the International Pepper Community (IPC) said that the price of Indonesian Lampung black pepper was quoted at 7,013 USD/ton, up 0.41% compared to yesterday.

In other leading producing countries, pepper prices have fallen sharply. Currently, Brazilian black pepper ASTA 570 is quoted at USD 6,200/ton (down 4.84%), while Kuching black pepper Malaysia is at USD 9,500/ton (down 1.05%).

In Vietnam, black pepper export prices continue to fluctuate in the range of 6,600 - 6,800 USD/ton for 500 g/l and 550 g/l.

At the same time of survey, the price of Indonesian Muntok white pepper reached 9,937 USD/ton, up 0.4% compared to the previous session.

Meanwhile, the price of Malaysian ASTA white pepper fell sharply to 12,500 USD/ton. Similarly, the price of Vietnamese white pepper remained at around 9,250 USD/ton (down 4%).

In Vietnam, white pepper export price remained at 9,250 USD/ton.
