Pepper price in Dak Lak province is purchased at 147,000 VND/kg.
Pepper price in Dak Nong province is purchased at 146,000 VND/kg.
Pepper price in Gia Lai province is at 146,000 VND/kg.
Pepper price in Dong Nai province is at 147,000 VND per kilogram.
Pepper price in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province is at 147,000 VND/kg.
Pepper price in Binh Phuoc province is purchased at 146,000 VND/kg.

Domestic coffee prices 8/3/2024
The domestic coffee market today decreased slightly compared to the same time yesterday. Domestic coffee prices were updated at 4:30 a.m. on August 3, 2024 as follows: Coffee prices decreased by 400 - 500 VND/kg. The current average price is around 122,800 VND/kg in the Central Highlands provinces, the highest purchase price in Dak Nong and Dak Lak provinces is 123,000 VND/kg.

Due to the rising geopolitical tensions in the Middle East after two assassinations of Hamas and Hezbollah leaders, the USD exchange rate has increased sharply. This has boosted the market's demand for safe-haven assets, indirectly pushing down coffee prices.
Although Brazil is at the end of its harvest season, farmers are reducing coffee prices to sell as much as possible, but speculators want to wait for better opportunities when Vietnam starts its new harvest season in October.
