Things your mother never told you:
1. You made mom cry... a lot.I cried when I found out I was pregnant. I cried when I gave birth to you. I cried when I held you for the first time. They were happy tears. I also cried because I was scared and worried. I felt pain but I was happy to have you.

2. Mom wants to be the one to eat the last piece of cake. But when your mom sees you staring at the cake with your eyes wide open and licking your lips, she will definitely not eat that cake anymore. She will be happier to see your little belly full.
3. You have hurt your mother at times. When you pull your mother's hair, it hurts her; when you hold her hand with uncut nails, it hurts her; when you bite her nipple while breastfeeding, it hurts her. You used to kick your mother from the time you were in her womb; you stretched her womb for nine months and ten days; for you to be in this world, she had to endure indescribable pain.
4. Mom has always worried about you. From the moment she conceived you, she did everything in her power to protect you. In her mind, no one could keep you safer than herself. Her heart skipped two beats when you took your first steps. She waited for you at school just to bring you home safely. She woke up early to make breakfast and take you to school. She stayed up all night when you were sick just to make sure you were okay.
5. I know I'm not perfect.. I am my own worst critic. I know all my flaws and sometimes I hate myself. I want to be the perfect mother, to do no wrong – but because I am human, I make mistakes too. I am still trying to forgive myself for them. I wish with all my heart that I could go back in time and do things better for you, but I can’t. Just know that I did the best I could.
6. Mom often watches you when you sleep.Mom can barely keep her eyes open as she sings to you. She wants you to fall asleep quickly. When you finally do, she will lay you down and all her tiredness will vanish as she sits beside you, looking at your lovely face and smiling with all her love, even though her eyes are stinging and her arms are tired.
7. Your mother "carried" you for much longer than nine months.. You need your mother. So she will learn to hold you while she is cleaning, while she is eating, even while she is sleeping. Even if her arms are tired, her back hurts, she will still "carry" you by her side just because you want to be close to her. She comes to you, loves you, kisses you and plays with you. You feel safe and happy in her arms, you feel that you are loved in her arms. So, your mother is always there when you need her, often and forever.
8. My heart aches every time you cry.To a mother, there is no sound sadder than your cry, no sight more terrible than the tears streaming down your face. She will do everything in her power to stop your tears. When she cannot stop those tears, her heart breaks into a million little pieces.
9. Mom always puts you first.Your mother always puts your needs first. She will spend the whole day taking care of you and meeting your needs. At the end of the day, she will have almost no energy left for herself. But the next day, she will wake up and do it all again, over and over again..., because you mean so much to her.
10. Mom will do anything for you.No matter the pain or sadness, late at night or early in the morning, your mother will do everything because you are priceless to her. So, tell her thank you, let her know how much you love her...because she can't hear it too many times in her life./.
