According to the latest statistics from Hoa Sen University, only one candidate applied for each of the Fashion Design and Interior Design majors.

In the second round of admissions, candidates can submit applications to three different universities, with four majors at each university. In addition, some universities also consider high school academic transcripts for admission.

Today is the last day of the second round of admissions, and many schools still have a large number of vacancies, even though most have set their admission scores at the threshold set by the Ministry of Education and Training (college: 12 points, university: 15 points). Some schools have already filled their quotas, but are worried about the number of fake applications, as candidates apply to three schools at the same time.

At many universities, candidates remain indifferent to the final application period. Hoa Sen University announced the list of supplementary applications as of 12 PM on September 5th. However, the Fashion Design department (quota: 40) and the Interior Design department (quota: 60) only received one application each. The entire university received 635 applications, accounting for 77.5% of the quota.

Admission quotas for Hoa Sen University

As of September 6th, Lac Hong University (Dong Nai province) had received over 600 applications for supplementary admissions, while the enrollment quota was approximately 900.

Phuong Dong Private University is recruiting over 1,400 students in the supplementary round, but after half the application period, it has only received just over 200 applications.

Meanwhile, many public universities have filled their quotas. The University of Education had 119 quotas for its majors and has already filled them. The University of Electrical Engineering had 900 quotas for both university and college programs, and after half of the supplementary application period, it had received more than 1,000 applications.

The highest score for admission to police and military schools is 25.

Besides the sharp increase in the cutoff scores for police and military schools in the first round of applications, the minimum scores for supplementary applications are also high.

Four military schools are recruiting students: the Logistics Academy has 4 quotas for Group A candidates and a minimum application score of 25 points. The school only accepts candidates from Quang Binh province and northward who meet health requirements and were not admitted in the first round of applications.

The Political Officer Training School is recruiting an additional 10 students for Group A and Group C, with a minimum application score of 24.5 points for both groups.

The Artillery Officer School is recruiting 18 students in Group A, with a minimum application score of 19.25 points. Finally, the Armored Officer School is recruiting 5 additional students in Group A with a minimum application score of 20.25 points.

For the 11 universities recruiting additional civilian students, the Military Technical Academy has the largest additional quota, recruiting 684 students for both university and college programs, in both A and A1 subject groups. The minimum application score for university programs is 17.5 and 18.5, and for college programs it is 12 points.
