(Baonghean.vn) - On October 9th, more than 1500 union members and civil servants from Dien Chau district flocked to the district center hall to participate in the 14th annual voluntary blood donation day.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tho, Deputy Head of the Dien Chau Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee, said: This is the third time this year (the first was on September 25th; the second on October 2nd) that Dien Chau has organized a humanitarian blood donation day. Over the three events, nearly 2,000 units of blood have been collected. With the slogan: "One drop of blood given – One life saved," voluntary blood donation in Dien Chau has truly become a festival.
